Information about Tinkerbell's Closet:

My name is Shana and I am the owner and creator of Tinkerbell's Closet Dog Boutique.  I established this boutique in 2004 with the inspiration of my very own dog's Tinkerbell, Chloe and Penny in mind. My specialty is my own line of exclusive handmade dog clothing that can be custom sized to specifically fit your dog.  I handmake these items myself and I use only the highest quality of fabrics and materials so I can bring you luxurious designer dog clothes at affordable prices. Aside from my own designs, I also offer all of your favorite brand names in designer doggy apparel and accessories so this can be your one stop shop for all things to spoil your furbaby!

How long does it take to get my order?

Order time varies depending on our volume of orders. Because many of our products are hand made once they are ordered, be sure to allow up to 1-3 weeks within the USA for your order to ship (allow 2-6 weeks outside the USA to receive your order due to international transit time).  Many items from our website are our own designs and we personally handmade each item once the order is placed (see info regarding Tinkerbell's Closet products below), other products are either in stock, dropshipped directly from the manufacturer, or may need to be ordered which is why we have established the timeframe listed above. We strive to get you your order as soon as possible.

 

 

 

Do you have a catalog?

We currently do not have a catalog, products are only viewable on this website.  

 

 

Where do you ship?

We Ship Worldwide. 

 

 

What Payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, American Express, Mastercard and Paypal. No personal checks.  We are paypal verified and have a secured payment terminal.

 

 

How much is shipping?

Shipping prices vary depending on size of order and location.  Shipping cost are added to the cart during checkout so you can view your shipping cost before submitting payment.  Clothing and accessory orders in the USA over $100 get free shipping.  Large or heavy items such as beds, carriers and dishes will still have a small (but discounted) shipping fee.

 

 

  

What Shipping Company do you use?

 We ship USPS priority mail within the USA with tracking number. We ship USPS global priority mail or air mail outside of the USA (no tracking number).  Global Express with tracking & insurance is available and recommended for all large orders outside the USA.  We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages outside the USA unless you purchase Global Express shipping.

 

  

 

Can an order be rushed?

 If you need something rushed for a trip, special event, or gift please let us know and we will try our best to get your order to you in the time frame that you need.  Some items may not be able to be rushed or putting a rush on an order may require additional postage cost so please let us know via email or phone before placing the rush order. 

 

 

 

What size should I get? How do I measure my dog?

Please check out our sizing page. It is always important to have updated measurements and since ordering online can be a bit tricky, we strongly encourage you give us your dog's measurements in the "notes" section during the checkout.  This way we can be sure to send you the correct size.

Do you offer wholesale?

Can an order be cancelled?

Once an order is placed it has already begun processing therefore orders can not be cancelled unless we approve it.

My name is Shana and I am the owner, founder & designer of Tinkerbell’s Closet. Everything on this website has been approved and inspired by my own dogs; Tinkerbell, Chloe and Penny.  They bring me so much joy and love and so I feel it is important to try and return the favor by pampering them as much as possible which led to the creation of my business.  My line of dog clothing is all made here in the USA by me.  As well as sewing, I myself personally do all the designing, website maintenance, ordering, shipping, customer service, etc.  My goal for my line of apparel is to create outstanding quality, unique, as well as functional designs. Every order is made with love and great attention to detail. 

 

I started this business years ago because I was not satisfied with much of the dog clothing on the market as nothing fit right and much of it was poorly made or the designs were drab. I decided my mission would be to make high quality clothing and to offer custom sizes by sewing them right here in the USA.  Many other dog clothing companies outsource their products to factories overseas for cheap labor.  The reason I don’t do this is because this substancially lowers the quality of the product, cheap raw goods are being used, items can not be customized or custom-fitted and of course the people sewing in factories are not personally invested in the items they are making. These are all elements that are important to me and the reason I make my own designs.

 

High Quality is the Top Priority with Tinkerbell's Closet Designs

I believe there is plenty of average dog clothes out there, so it is my goal to create exceptional dog clothing. Here at Tinkerbell’s Closet I use only top of the line materials and have developed my own unique techniques for making my clothing designs highly functional and fashionable.  For example when I make a dress I use lots of extra fabric to create a very generously pleated skirt, my clothing is always lined with high quality fabric and I also sew all bows down so they will not come undone and I treat the edges of the ribbons so they will not fray.  On my coats I use warm lining fabrics because I believe a dog coat should serve a purpose as well as look good, the coat should be well insulated and actually keep a dog warm.  For my harnesses I triple line them for strength and I also create extra rows of stitches to reinforce the d-ring firmly in place with both the top fabric and the lining fabric because I believe a harness should be structurally safe and secure so you can rely on it when you walk you dog.

 

Because of all this attention to details in each individual item I make and the number of orders I receive each day, and because each order is made in the order in which I receive it, the turnaround time is usually 2-3 weeks on my handmade apparel. I know some customers feel this is a long time to wait but I firmly believe my items speak for themselves and I can not compete with or be compared with factory made clothing because this is not what I create.

We only carry products from reputable designers and manufacturers that we have personally researched and approved so our customers can rest assure they are getting great products.   Most of the non-Tinkerbell's Closet (other brands) apparel and other small products are usually in stock and ready to go.  Some larger items such as beds & carriers may ship directly from the manufacturer.
